In the book Double Identity Bethany gets taken to her aunts house and she doesn't even know her aunt existed. When she is at her aunts house she is very impatient when she is waiting for her parents to call. When they do she finds out why her mom is always crying and why she was sent to her aunts house. When there Bethany meets her aunts daughter Joss who is a perter at a church in St. Louis.
1.One question I have is why didn't Bethany's parents tell her about what happened? 2.Why is Bethany's last name Cole and her parents and her long lost sisters last name Krull?
What I have read so far in Double Identity is that Bethany and her parents are going somewhere in the middle of the night. Bethany learns about an aunt she never knew about. Then her parents leave her there and she doesn't know why. She cannot contact her parent, but her dad calls her aunt Myrlie's house. Aunt Myrlie and Bethany's dad talk about Elizabeth and Bethany never knew about her. She asks her aunt about it but she won't tell her. Then her dad calls and asks her and He says that Myrlie will explain everything.It turns out that Bethany has an older sister that died of a car crash a long time ago along with Myrlie's husband, Tom.
My two questions that I have are... Why didn't her parents tell Bethany about Elizabeth? Why did they leave her at her aunt's house and then go off?
My character I chose was Bethany and I think she is curious because in the book, she was snooping around and listening to Myrlie and her dad's conversation on the phone when she first arrived. That is how she found out about Elizabeth. Plus, when Myrlie left to go get food, the day before, she saw a plaque but couldn't read what was on it. She went out and read the plaque without Myrlie's knowledge. That is how she found out about Tom.
A summery of my past reading in Double Identity is that Bethany gets forced into being taken to her aount merleys house. Bethany is very confused on why her super pertecteve parents would just leave her at some ones house. Then Bethany finna;y learns why her mom seems to always to be crying, but also why she got sent away to her aunts home.
The two qutions I have are where did her parents go to after they left her at her aounts house in sanderfield? Also why did they not tell Bethany about Elizebeth?
Character Trait I think Bethany is curious because she is always asking questions about what is going on and why certain things are happening. I also think she is athletic because she is always saying how she loves to swim and play other sports and she always says how good she is in swimming. Lastly I think Bethany is very smart because when her dad called to say that he wants to get her into school again so that she can keep her strait As going and also so that she doesn't fall behind in her schooling.

She finds out that her parents used to have the last name of Krull but changed it to Cole after the incident with Elizabeth. She then gets a phone call that is from her parents and they talk about Elizabeth. They call her Elizabeth, and Bethany really doesn't know anything about Elizabeth at the time. She finds out some research and finds out what the incident with Elizabeth really is. She finds Elizabeth's best friend and cousin, Joss, and she finds more and more about Elizabeth.

The character i choose is Joss because she is very kind and caring. She always knows what to say and when to say it. Joss is one of my favorite characters in the book DOUBLE IDENTITY because she kind of reminds me of some people i know and love.
A character I would choose would be Bethany because she is very curios and athletic, but is also naive. I think bethany is curios becuse she is always looking around in her aunts house and alwas wants to know whats happening. She is athletic becuse in the book it says that she likes to swim and is on a swim team wich she majorly cares about. Lasley she is a little naive to what is going on at her aunts house, and does not understand what going on.
